Africa goes mobile

The African continent is among the most interesting when it comes to new and innovative uses of mobile phones. In Nigeria, for example, only 5 % of the +140 million people has a bank account, but there are 68 million mobile users. The mobile has the potential to become a driver of development, education and communication at he continent that many see as the world’s new growth frontier.
