
With Idainsitute.com our ambition was to create a key global hub for the professional development of audiologists. Launched in October 2008, the site has now proved its success by hosting nearly 10.000 visitors worldwide. The success is now official since the site has won a non-profit Standard of Excellence award in the Web Marketing Association 2009 Web Award competition for outstanding achievement in web development.
Judged on seven different criteria – including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use – the annual Web Award competition recognizes outstanding corporate websites that are judged against Internet standard and peer sites within their industry. The judges praised Idainstitute.com with the following comments: “The graphic design elements of the site are unique and attractive. This is a well-done site. The menu and visual cues are very nice… The copy is also very well written, without being too long or detailed.”
