
50 Executives from some of the most prominent brands in Scandinavia enjoyed an afternoon full of interaction and valuable take aways at Kontrapunkt’s “Online Brand Leadership” seminar the 7th of May.
At the seminar Rasmus Bech Hansen, Managing Director of Kontrapunkt Online, spoke about global trends of the Internet and Mobile Technology. He advised brand owners to go from a push to a pull approach, using the web to build services and real value to customers.
Rasmus Bech Hansen was followed by Ben Hammersley, Associate Editor at WIRED Magazine and author of a variety of books on the Internet. Mr. Hammersley gave a lively talk, recommending companies to focus their branding on applications, and to simply figuring out what to do, instead of what to say!
The afternoon ended with a unique presentation from the Global Head of Web at IKEA, Mikael Ydholm, who spoke about the successful IKEA web strategy and his vision for the future of IKEA’s online brand presence.
